Alan Baer Tuba

The Erie Junior Philharmonic is excited to conclude its 75th anniversary season with a performance featuring the Principal Tuba of the New York Philharmonic (and Jr. Phil alum) Alan Baer.

He will be playing James Woodward’s Tuba Concerto, which was written for Alan, and an arrangement of Vittorio Monti’s Czardas that will include students from all the Junior Phil ensembles.

The program will also include works by Tchaikovsky, Sibelius and Maslanka.
