Amidst a crisis such as this, there is no higher priority than the health and welfare of our patrons, donors, sponsors, board members, staff and volunteers. With that in mind, the Erie Philharmonic has decided to offer our 2020-21 season free of charge, televised on WQLN PBS. We are beyond excited for this opportunity to reach into homes across the region with the git of music.
Our hearts, thoughts and prayers go out to each and every one of you reading this message. We know that this is a difficult time for all, financially, physically and emotionally, and we are committed to finding a way to make it through this crisis together, as a family.
While the physical box office location remains closed, we are still open M-F, 9am-5pm via phone at 814.455.1375. We can also be reached through email at info@eriephil.org.
We have had numerous people reach out, asking how they can help the orchestra during this crisis. Here are 6 things you can do to have an immediate positive impact on the Philharmonic!
Help spread our posts on social media, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube.
Additionally, our From Home series features streaming audio, videos from Philharmonic musicians like you’ve never seen them before and customized playlists from Music Director Daniel Meyer.
The Erie Philharmonic and its Board of Directors made the difficult decision to officially cancel all in-person concerts as part of our 2020-21 subscriptions series. Right now, we’re looking to you, our dedicated audience, for the same support you have shown us for over 100 years to help us through this time of uncertainty. If you are a season pass holder for the 2020-21 season, we ask you to consider donating your already-purchased subscription back to the orchestra.
As we look to present 18 free concerts for the community from October-April, your support ensures that the music will definitely return!
Your support would also be instantly doubled as we have a generous individual in the Erie community who has graciously agreed to match every subscription donated dollar for dollar! Deadline for this matching challenge is August 31, 2020.
You can donate your subscription by calling 814.455.1375 or by clicking below:
If and when you need to fill up your tank during this crisis, please consider using any local Country Fair location. 2 cents of every gallon dispensed from one of the marked charity pumps will be donated to the Erie Philharmonic.
As you know, the orchestra presents numerous educational programs to thousands of children each year at no cost.
These programs are now in serious jeopardy due to the COVID-19 crisis.
Your support, whether by ticket donations, season passes or annual fund gifts, will literally be the one thing that keeps these programs alive. Thank you for considering!
Gifts to the Erie Philharmonic help bring the music you love to audiences in Erie and around the region.
Contributions, including ticket donations, will be matched dollar-for-dollar through August 31!
Your donation will have double the impact to support musical programs that engage more than 40,000 people each year.
Make a donation by clicking below, contact the Box Office at 455-1375, or send in your donation to 23 West 10th Street, Suite 3, Erie, PA 16501.
Gift certificates are available in any amount and can be used to purchase anything from the Philharmonic. Buy a gift certificate and support your orchestra now — and come to a concert when we finally get back to performing again. Trust us, we just as excited as your are to get passed all of this, and do we have some amazing concerts planned for you!
