Laurel and Hardy.  Bonnie and Clyde.  Calvin and Hobbes.  Batman and Robin.  Abbott and Costello…  You simply cannot imagine one existing without the other.  So too with the Broadway giants Rodgers and Hammerstein.  

This classic pairing of composer (Richard Rodgers) and lyricist (Oscar Hammerstein) produced some of the most famous musicals of American history together, including The Sound of Music, Oklahoma!, South Pacific and Cinderella.  To honor this brilliant pairing, we are assembling some of our favorite moments from these iconic musicals together with stars past and present from the Erie Playhouse for an evening of Broadway hits. With a treasure trove of classic songs, ensemble numbers, and memorable moments for chorus, this is a night to celebrate this dynamic creative duo as well as the finest that Erie has to offer in vocal and instrumental talent.
