The Erie Philharmonic has two summer camp options for young musicians – choral camp (for learning the best singing technique, learning to sing in a group and exploring voices) or instrumental camp (for mastering their instrument and learning how to play in a group). Or, students can do both!

Summer Choral Camp
Monday, August 7 - Thursday, August 10
8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Student Showcase, Thursday at 4:00pm
First Presbyterian Church of the Covenant
Our Choral Summer Camp is available to students in grades 2-12 with any level of experience.
This exciting four day program provides students the opportunity to develop and refine their music skills with peers at a similar level in a fun, relaxed setting:
Programs designed for all students
Four days of instruction
High-quality vocal education to help students grow as musicians and leaders
Theory/voice/performance instruction and workshops
Camp Party and Pizza Party on final day before Student Showcase
Tuition: $100/student
Have more than one student looking to sign up? We offer a sibling discount of 10% off the price of each students’ tuition.
Financial Hardship Scholarships
We are proud to offer quarter and half scholarships to make our summer camp accessible to all students. To apply, please send a brief email describing your need to Lisa Herring at lisa@eriephil.org.
SPOTS ARE LIMITED AND WILL BE GIVEN ON A FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED BASIS WITH PRIORITY TO STUDENTS WHO ARE ALREADY A MEMBER OF ONE OF OUR CHORAL ENSEMBLES.
Please note: Participation in camp will not guarantee your child a spot in the Junior Chorus or Youth Chorale ensembles in the fall. However, those who participate in camp will be strongly encouraged to audition. Audition information will be provided to all students who attend Vocal Camp.
